MYF- Methodist Youth
Fellowship
Hi! We are teenagers,
students, adults {giggle giggle}, teachers, servants, ministers,
followers of Christ. We are a Christian youth group. Don't get us
wrong, you don't have to be a Christian to come to
MYF, BUT the youth group is to support and bring you
closer to God and get you to know Him as well as possible!
I {Diane} have been a part
of the MYF for almost four years and there's one thing about our
youth group that I think sets us apart from others.... ACCEPTANCE! We
have jocks, non- athletes, computer techies, and everything in
between. And we're all friends! I'm not talking about the "friend"
who stole your boy/girl friend, or the "friend" that cheated off you
on the test or got you in trouble. I'm talking about people who will
let you cry on their shoulders even while your makeup or snot is
running down their shirts, people who will give advice but will
listen when you need to just vent.
One more thing, we have
TONS of fun! When you get to fling grapes off
spoons {Jane only}, sculpt spam, sing "I'm a Little Tea Pot", and
travel out of state with really cool youth leaders, how could you not
have fun? The best part though is the fellowship in Christ!
