Hi! This is where you can talk about
what God is doing in your life. You can write about something good
that He is doing, how you were saved, or about someone you know who
God is working through.

When we first started out on this "web page making adventure" I {d} thought it was going to be easy and fun... you know... done in 2 hours and no stress at all. It has been most of the time. I'm sure everyone who goes on-line knows what it's like when you can't find what you're looking for on-line or the page won't load. So do I! In fact most of the searches resulted in errors for me. I thank God for giving me patient throughout this entire process. Also I thank Him for Kevin who has gone back and done things I couldn't do. It's by God's grace and Dave's computer knowledge that this page is up and running. Share it! Use it to glorify God! It's here, take advantage of it. So get writing!
Hi! My name is Carol. This past summer God gave me an oppertunity to serve Him in Matamoros, Mexico. It was an awesome week where God showed me many things about Him and how I need to live a better Christian life. During the week when I was in Mexico, our group did a variety of outreaches. We did construction on a new church that was being built in the area, we put on some Vacation Bible Schools in the neighborhoods of the kids, we went to orphanages, and we went to a feeding program. Some of the things that God taught me in Mexico was to rely on Him more. The people there had very little possesions and really all they could do was rely on Him for what they needed. When you do rely on Him, He brings you oppertunities to share your faith with others. Another thing that God taught me comes from 1 John 3:18. In Mexico there was a huge language barrior and I had to share the gospel without talking to them. So God showed me that I can show His love through my actions that I have on ordinary days and what kind of impact we can make on a person by how we react to situations. One thing that really stood out to me during this trip was how much more these people had than us. A lot of the people lived in tiny houses and in the poor part of the city lived in literally a bug cardboard box. But they didn't have a lot of physical things but still had so much joy in their hearts. See, the less they had, really the more they had. They had great faith and a lot of contentment. Instead of living a wordly life they loved the Lord and God filled them with joy and hope. That is how I want to live my life. The Lord calls us to lay down our lives, give Him every part of us, reach out of our comfort zones, go out and find the lost and tell them about Jesus. I am an ordinary person and God gave imperfect ole me to go to Mexico and be a missionary for Him. Think of what God can do through you!!!
It was during the summer of 2000 at Alive. It was my first camping trip with the youth group. It was a blast and I had a great time. I heard bands played Christian songs, meet the speaker, Ron Hutcraft, and the best part was I became a child of God on the first night I arrived. I came from a home that wasn't exactly the best and I definitely didn't have the most loving family. Before I got saved, I was just a lost human being walking this earth, who had no desire to live. I had nothing to look forward to and I thought life was just worthless and it was better if I was just dead. I had no love from my family and I was alone. I felt like I had no hope or a future. But all that changed........ While I was at Alive, I experienced how powerful it was to know God and actually have a relationship with Him. Becoming a child of God changed my whole life. I now no longer feel hopeless and I felt so much love than I ever felt before. I knew I was making the right decision, when I asked God for the first time to come into my life. He saved me in so many ways! I went from a useless little girl into someone who was proud and happy to be alive. It was God who had handcrafted me and I knew He had a great future planned ahead of me. He gave me hope and the strength to move on. I finally found something to look forward to. Before I was miserable and crying alone, wishing I was dead and gone. But now I cry to the Lord thanking Him for how much He cares for me. If it wasn't for God and his awesome warming love, I don't know if I would be here today to share this with you. He's the best choice you will ever make, it was for me. Now I never have to feel hopeless again because I know someone out there is looking after for me. I'll always have Jesus in my heart, is He in yours? Thanks also to Sarina for being there for me that one night!
